BOOP is at the forefront of graphic and modern pet photography with their bold shapes and color unlike ever seen before.
I was tasked with creating a brand identity system that reflects the personality of the brand, then using that as a base for a new website and online presence.

THE PALETTE
BOOP's personality is loud, friendly and approachable so the color needed to represent that.
I played with colors and how they worked with each other until i had an idea of the palette down to a refined set, including a primary yellow and red with complimentary blues, and two variations of light purple and dark for contrast.

PLAYFULLNESS
Playfulness is at the core of BOOP's personality and the team wanted this very important characteristic to be represented in the brand typography.
After several runs of experimentation we landed for primary on ohno blazeface 12pt for its friendly curves that makes you look twice at it and adrianna extended for the secondary complement.

PRIMARY
Ohno blaceface 12pt

SECONDARY
Adrianna extended

KEEP IT BOLD
BOOP's pet photography is something that is revolutionary and at the turning point of modern art.
so i designed and built some sets exclusively for dogs to make furries stand out while keeping the sets as a stand alone work of art.

GRAPHIC ELEMENTS
We liked the idea of using a retro look for the graphic system. This elements required to be bold and have a sticker ability to be place almost anywhere and contain the essence of the brand.

WEB PRECENSE
The colorful theme continued throughout, including the webpage interface. The team wanted the menu that stood out from the typical top menu on webpages, so I came out with an alternative.
After experimenting and testing, I designed a double sided menu the lives in the left and right side of the page to add liveliness and fun to the user experience on the site.

FEEDBACK
Once we settled on the menu and layout for the web page, I started to generate the UI.
Using the content color palette, photography, graphic elements and typography I created a component based hi-res prototype using Adobe XD to be tested for further refinements of the user's experience, and over all feel of the page.
